Message from Management
Stepping Down
Scott Brewster, a long time member of Cedarhill’s Executive Committee will be stepping down from that role at the end of January in order to take on a new challenge at Cedarhill. Scott has provided the Executive and club management with strong guidance and commitment over the past number of years and his presence will be missed. Thank you, Scott.
Committees Formed
Management and Cedarhill's Executive Committee are pleased to announce the formation of two new member committees at Cedarhill as follows:
Handicap and Trophy Committee
This committee reports to the Executive Committee with primary responsibilities being to maintain the club’s handicap system and to make recommendations to the Executive Committee and ultimately management regarding software, equipment, process, etc. Equally as important, this committee will liaise with various governing bodies on handicap issues, lead any activity with respect to reassessment of score card ratings and oversee the maintenance of all club trophies. The committee will initially be headed up by Scott Brewster.
Club Discipline Committee
As Cedarhill continues to build on its reputation of excellence, the Executive Committee and management want to ensure members have a formal sounding board if they feel other members are not respecting club rules and regulations. The club’s Discipline Committee will act as that sounding board and will be headed up by the Club President, Club Captain, a member at large and a representative from management. Hopefully, this committee will not be an active one but for information purposes, a committee outline and mandate along with a series of formal incident reports will appear in both the mens’ and ladies locker room. This information will be reproduced on the member portion of our web site in due course.
REMINDER - REMINDER - REMINDER
The first instalment of the annual membership billing was due on January 4th. Commencing February 1st, outstanding balances will accrue interest at a rate of 2% monthly.
